Data Scientist

Job Description:

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance and scalable data science solutions using open source programming languages to solve critical business problems
• Maintain good communication with Business Stakeholders of varying functions to ensure the veracity and the applicability of the data science solution
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Machine Learning Engineers in delivering reliable data products
• Maintain high-quality technical documentation in company's internal Wiki

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of Data Science, or equivalent
• A degree from reputable university with specialization in highly numerical disciplines, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computational Science, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Understanding of the mathematics behind Statistical models, Machine Learning algorithms, and Optimisation techniques
• Fluency in Python programming
• Familiarity with SQL for querying relational databases
• Familiarity with standard Software Engineering practices such as object oriented programming
• and modular design is a big plus
• Familiarity with Data Science product deployment into production system is a big plus
