Head of Marketplace
Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall Profit and Loss of Marketplace
- Establish processes to drive marketplace sales and profitability
- Design commercial structure/modules to cater for different suppliers and categories
- Manage acquisition for Indonesia and liaise with regional acquisition team on bringing exclusive brands to Indonesia
- Manage International dropshipping from sellers outside Indonesia
- Liaise and work with ZALORA Indonesia’s Operations and Logistics teams for issues related to warehouse storage, deliveries and interaction with third-party logistics
- Work with local and regional IT teams to troubleshoot existing problems and to map out IT development road map for the Marketplace business unit
- Establish SRM management tools to communicate with sellers
- Drive integration with big retailer groups
- Manage a team of marketplace associates
Requirements :
- The ideal candidate has several years of experience fashion retailing and intimate knowledge of both online and offline business-to-consumer (“B2C”) and consumer-to-consumer (“C2C”) models. Bachelor in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills is a must
- Advanced execution skills coupled with analytical capabilities and detail orientation
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Exposure in e-commerce industry is preferred
- Ability to plan, work to a structured timetable and be focused on deliverables
- Willingness to work in a multicultural environment
