Junior UI Engineer

Responsibility:

Produce a polished and quality interface output
Create a suitable interface that meets the user's needs and make sure that the interface functions the way it's supposed to

Day-to-day duties will typically include:

Discuss product features and design ideas with designers
Develop user interfaces for complex websites and applications
Work closely with UI designers, UX designers, web developers, and other team members to deliver an overall seamless user experience
Convert mockups into cross-browser (mobile & desktop) HTML/CSS/JavaScript templates, including interactions and micro-interactions inside them
Work alongside web developers to implement code
Test and document new features
Monitor trends in UI development and advocate technology standards and best practices
Learn UI guidelines for relevant operating systems and appropriately adjust interfaces
Maintain design system alongside with UI Designers

Job requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Graphic Design or related field
Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
Proven UI development experience with a portfolio
Good interpersonal skills
Understanding of key design principles
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
In-depth knowledge of user interface models, application design, and website functionality
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces
