- Your job as a Sales Manager will have two central focuses. The first will be to support our local sales team in making favorite local merchants available for delivery. The second will be to grow and train the team to ensure that sales goals are exceeded.
The day to day activities
- Reporting line directly to Central java & DIY sales Manager. Collaborate with senior leaders in Central java & DIY to establish strategic plans and objectives
- Handle, control and monitor all salespeople activities (Acquisition, SWAT and Account Management) for all of the City's area (including satellite area). Including to manage, develop, train, control and motivate salespeople to develop their skills
- Collaborate with Merchant Ops team and others vertical to make sure all plan to develop business running well for this City’s handled
- Build excellent working relationships with all key business leaders, colleagues, and the broader team, including those in Marketing, Operations, Legal, etc
- Responsible for managing, updating, and reporting out performance. Providing guidance and monitoring of daily, monthly sales, and quarterly work plans in accordance with the strategies formulated by the company.
- Track, measure, and report on the performance against agreed-upon metrics, working cross-functionally to identify gaps and action plans to course-correct as the campaign execution unfolds.
- Cultivate an environment of teamwork, openness, creativity, and continuous improvement
- Follow up and provide solutions to every obstacle experienced by the team in the field
- Give rewards to the team / individual who reached the target and give a penalty to the team / individual who did not reach the target
- Lead meetings with Top Merchant to ensure strong relationships and eliminate business obstacles, aligning with the company's long-term direction
- Ensure best service to be given to merchant from acquisition & also AM Team vice versa & build good relationships with merchant
- Cooperate with S&P Team to plan on to strategizing merchant initiatives for better user experience
- Cooperate with Marketing team on how the local campaign will be run, and how the marketing asset gonna be used and coordinated on all marketing project from central & city
The must haves:
- Minimum of 4-5 years (for account manager lead role) of sales business development, account management or operations
- Experienced in handling and dealing with partners (account management experience)
- An exceptional track record of driving revenue through partnerships
- Multi-tasking and able to work under pressure and constantly changing environment
- Proficient in English is a plus
- Passion for the on-demand delivery space, and food delivery in particular
- Comfortable to work using laptop and internet
- Great communication and negotiation skills
