BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST
What You Need
- Bachelor degree in a quantitative field; Statistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Informatics, Data Science
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics or other leading edge analytics focus; including SQL objects development, performance tuning, data analysis on large datasets and relational databases
- Experience in developing, maintaining and collecting structured and unstructured data sets for analysis and reporting
- Experience creating advanced analytics to support business strategy
- Experience identifying and resolving complex technical and operations problems
- Experience building BI environments with significant scale and scope (Power BI, QlikView, Tableau, Google Data Studio, etc.)
- Experience with incorporating descriptive analytics and predictive modeling techniques into BI tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in order to share recommendations often based on highly technical data with colleagues in an approachable, easily digestible way
Technical Skills Required:
- Database design and data architecture
- Data mining and analytics
- Data visualization, including tools such as Tableau
- Handle all variants of SQL
- Proficient in ETL (extract, transform, load)
- Understand which situations need Hadoop and utilize these effectively
